Also, to OP, if you weren't aware, the types of Priests that tend the shrines can sometimes change based on the location of the Kurzick/Luxon line. Whatever faction the town you're leaving from is currently aligned to will be the type of Priest that tends the Res Shrine immediately outside. At least I think that's how it works.

This is true - however, every area has at least one uncontested town of the local faction that accesses it so that, if you are kurz, for example, and the kurz area you are entering is currently held by the luxon, you can still find a kurz town to leave from to get the proper bonuses.

Personally I would pick whichever side I enjoyed farming the title on the most. If you have patience to do whatever it takes it doesn't matter but this is not a light weight title. It's either an insanely and unhealthy hard core commitment or it's a long term commitment. If it's the later I say pick whichever you enjoy doing the most. If you want to do MQSC or Deep runs go Luxon, otherwise pick the Kurzicks.

I don't think there is a considerable enough time difference to justify picking a farm which is less enjoyable.
